Nadi International Airport

THE Nadi International Airport is located at the eastern end of Nadi not far from the Nadi Bay. This is the main gateway to Fiji and tourists almost always arrive via this airport. International airlines flying in and out of Fiji's main airport include the nation's own airline - Air Pacific - which has a codeshare arrangement with Qantas Airlines of Australia. Other airlines are Korean Air, Pacific Blue (Virgin Airlines brand for the South Pacific), Air New Zealand (New Zealand), Freedom Air (New Zealand) and FedEx freight.

In addition to the international airlines, Nadi Airport is used for Fijian domestic air services, Pacific Sun (owned by Air Pacific) and Air Fiji. Their scheduled domestic routes carry passengers to many destinations around Fiji. Private charter companies are also available in Nadi, such as Island Hoppers helicopters and Turtle Airways sea-planes (based at Nadi Bay). Airport services include gift shops, cafes, restaurants, car hire offices, travel agents and foreign exchange. There is also a Post Office branch a short walk from the main building, within the airport compound.
